Immersion

We were in the Winesburg / Millersburg Ohio area and decided to be a little touristy and spend a day eating and sightseeing in Amish country.  We ate, shopped, shopped, ate, shopped, shopped, shopped, ate, and saw a show.

A few pics from the day...

Sue mapped out a path for the day and we headed out.  I hadn't changed the GPS settings back to "Truck only" but Rosie (that's our GPS) said to turn so I turned.  Around a corner and this is what we had for a road.  Keep in mind that the GPS was currently set for 50' long, 9' wide, 13' high and 22000 pounds of rig.  I think their database needs updating.

Headed down Main St for breakfast at Mrs Yoder's Kitchen.  Cultures in this area blend and respect each other.

Someone got an early treat.

One of our stops - this meat shop is famed for its scrapple and summer sausage.  The many reviewers were right.

Same goes for this handmade chocolates shop.

We were headed for a variety show (think an Amish version of Hee Haw - it was great!).  I wonder where they were headed?

After the show, headed home.  Our dash-mounted GoPro captures interesting pics at night.
