T'giving '14

We are enjoying Thanksgiving in Georgia this year parked among the pecan trees. No snow!!!

To our family and friends following along, enjoy the day and the afternoon nap. May you have no snow to shovel today. :-)

Travel: Nashville TN --> Unadilla GA 370 mi

Southern Trails RV Park is one of our home parks - a park through which we get a camping membership (Resorts of Distinction) that allows us to camp at a variety of RV parks across the country at no cost other than the small HOA fee paid once a year directly to ST. 

This day's mileage was stretching our theme of 300 miles a hop but we wanted to get here and settle in for a couple weeks of relaxation after that long cold work stretch in KY.



The trip does a Georgia / Tennessee / Georgia things as the interstate clips a little bit of Tennessee's meandering border.

En'route to Ga

Some rest stops along the GA interstates not only have separate easy parking for RVs but include covered picnic tables and a dump station.

Nashville Rain

Today was the last day of work for this year on sister's place in KY.  We are headed out tomorrow to Georgia with a stop along the way in Nashville. Have had enough of this cold and snow!

Weather Delay

I promised two more work days to finish up the greenhouse frame and some windows but this is what greeted us this morning.  Departure for Florida is be delayed.

Another Work Day in KY

Almost done working on my sister's house... this was the 9AM view out my windshield.

Fluidity

The plan was to follow 70 degrees and be in Florida by now but we've spent extra time at my sister's in KY helping them with the new house before winter sets in. It snowed today and we are still here!!!
